As a member of the Student Center team, student employees interact daily with students, staff, faculty, alumni and guests of the university. As the front line of our staff, you have the ability to leave a positive, lasting impression on our patrons. In coordination with Georgia State’s College to Career program, which is designed to improve students’ career readiness, employment with the Student Center helps students acquire, develop and sharpen competency in the areas identified by employers as the most sought-after skills. Through a well-developed training model, we assist the university’s effort to get students to identify, reflect upon and document the career competencies they are already learning to better equip students to succeed after graduation.
