There are a variety of platforms within Student Media. If you are looking to get involved, use the links below to go to their profiles on the Panther Involvement Network (PIN). On their PIN profile, there will be an option to "Join". While clicking that button won't actually make you a member, you'll be notified about their upcoming events and it is where the applications to apply for positions in each organization will be posted.
Students can learn the different aspects of the media, such as writing, editing, producing, DJing and selecting outside content, by doing them. You don't have to be majoring in English, for example to volunteer for a literary journal, or in communication or journalism to volunteer for Album 88 or The Signal. Students can also gain skills in time management and for supervisory roles, conflict management, delegation, leadership and more. Getting involved with a Student Media organization is a great way to develop your "College to Career" readiness. The Fall 2022 Student Mediia Open House video recording is available here.
