There are two ways to be involved with Spotlight. See below for details on how to join a committee or apply to serve as an Executive Board member!
Join a Committee
Joining a committee is a great way to be more involved in Spotlight. Regular meetings throughout the year discuss upcoming events, contribute ideas and review logistics. Below is a brief description of each committee.
The application process takes place each semester and only takes a few minutes. Committee applications are available on the Panther Involvement Network (PIN).

Apply for an Executive Board Position
For those looking to get even more involved, students can join the executive board which includes an executive director (president) and six committee directors. Applications will open in February 2023.
Executive board members work with committee members and advisors to choose events to plan and implement. They also negotiate with agents, reserve venues, coordinate event logistics, create budgets and carry out events. Executive positions are paid a stipend during fall, spring and summer for a time commitment of approximately 10 - 15 hours a week. Some executive board members are expected to attend training and events and plan events over the summer.

| Early Spring | Committee director recruitment begins. |
| Mid Spring | Committee director offers made. Incoming committee directors shadow and attends training and events. |

| Fall | Plan spring events. Recruit and maintain committee members. Execute fall events. |
