Throughout the first five days of classes, Georgia State volunteers will staff Ask Me booths to help students navigate college life. Monday through Thursday booth hours will be 9 a.m. - 5 p.m. unless otherwise noted. Only the Atlanta campus will host Friday hours 9 a.m. - 3 p.m. (Daily hours may vary based on the availability of volunteers.) Maps, Panther masks and other resources will be available for pickup at the locations listed below.

The Ask Me booth locations will be as follows:

• Atlanta –
  • 25 Park Place first-floor lobby
  • Library North entrance with extended hours until 7 p.m. Mon. & Wed.
  • Student Center West 3rd floor Information Kiosk (near the Bookstore entrance)
  • Under the overhang at the Urban Life entrance off Decatur Street OR just inside the Urban Life lobby 
  • NOTE: SC Information Center on the first floor of SC East is available to answer questions from 8 a.m. – 11 p.m. every Monday - Thursday, and 8 a.m. – 8 p.m. on Fridays.
• Alpharetta – AA Building lobby
• Clarkston – CN Building lobby near café seating
• Decatur – SC Building lobby near café seating
• Dunwoody – NB Building lobby, lower level
• Newton – 1N Building, lobby near open seating
• Look for additional volunteers wearing Ask Me buttons on the Perimeter campuses. These roving volunteers will be ready with answers if you need assistance.
• Not on campus?  Panther Answer is your one-stop shop to ask questions and set up appointments with admissions, academic advising, financial aid and the registrar’s office.

Thursday, Jan. 5

• 10-11 a.m. Coffee Hour with ISSS staff | Sparks 248 | Stop by the ISSS Office for coffee and breakfast, meet the VISA Leaders, ISSS staff, and fellow incoming students!

• 11 a.m. -12 p.m. Campus Tour with Visa Leaders | Sparks 248 | Explore the GSU downtown campus and end the tour with a lunch session. 
• 12-1:30 p.m. Lunch with Baptist Collegiate Ministries | Baptist Student Union | Join our community partner BCM for a free lunch, meet other new students and our downtown Atlanta community!
• 1:30-3 p.m. Arrival Confirmation Assistance | Sparks 248 | Need help completing your Arrival Confirmation e-Form in iStart? Stop by the Map Room for assistance from ISSS staff and VISA Leaders.
• 6:30 p.m. International Student Night | GSU Convocation Center | It’s International Student Night at the Women’s Basketball Game at our new Convocation Center!
