Album 88 is the student-run radio voice of Georgia State, broadcasting from campus. It features a rotation of indie-rock, indie-pop, electronic and hip-hop music, complemented by specialty shows, athletics broadcasts, and "88 Affairs" by the student news team.

Leadership Programs and the Multicultural Center sponsor the Baldwin Book Club, an opportunity for students to come together to discuss a book with racial justice themes, learn how to navigate racial issues and become culturally competent leaders.

Much like the barbershop in the African American community serves as a hub for cultural and community well-being, Barbershop Talks is designed to support the educational and professional aspirations of African American men at Georgia State University.

Big Ideas is a weekly leadership program where students can learn about the issues that are taking place in our communities while also exploring positive leadership solutions to those challenges.

Black History Month, also known as African American Heritage Month is a yearly celebration honoring the legacy and contributions of prolific African Americans throughout history.

Civic Engagement and the Red Cross Club host several blood drives with the American Red Cross each academic year on the Atlanta campus. Students are encouraged to donate blood or sponsor a blood drive.

DeStress Fest provides in-person and virtual activities as well as online resources for you to relieve stress and be successful during final exams. From meditation to aerobics, there are activities and resources here for you!

First-Year Experience Peer Mentors work with students enrolled in the Freshmen Learning Community program. They work alongside GSU 1010 instructors to support the academic success of first-year students and help connect students to co-curricular opportunities.

Fraternity & Sorority Life provides students with an opportunity to make a big campus feel a little smaller. Our fraternities and sororities were founded on the ideals of scholarship, community service, leaders, and lifelong friendship.

Homecoming is the university’s longest-running on-campus tradition, dating back to 1916. A century later, Panther pride is more alive than ever. Join us for a week of exciting signature events, including parades, a presentation of the Royal Court and more.

Hot Wings and Hot Topics is hosted by Black Student Achievement every first and third Monday of the month. It provides a platform for discussion and gives students the opportunity to engage in meaningful dialogue about the things happening around them.

This is a dynamic and interactive workshop designed to develop, enhance and maintain culturally competent and supportive environments on Georgia State University’s campus for Gender and Sexuality Minorities (GSM).

Each spring, the International Students Association Council coordinates the International Spring Festival, a week of cultural activities, celebrations and events produced by various student groups on campus.

Intramurals are scheduled competitive and recreational activities, where students and recreation members compete against other students and recreation members.

The Latino Leadership Pipeline program aims to increase the number of students of Hispanic or Latinx heritage graduating from Georgia State University. It provides scholarship money, mentors, internships, leadership development, and learning communities.

Presented by Black Student Achievement, this event serves not only as an opportunity to reflect on Dr. King’s legacy but also as an occasion to engage with the ideals, principles and values that enlivened Dr. King’s political and social action.

The Mind-Body Clinic offers classes, groups, workshops and retreats to teach and support the cultivation of mindfulness.

MLK Day of Service is an annual event that is held in honor of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Each year, students engage in projects such as tutoring and mentoring children, painting schools and senior centers, delivering meals, building homes, while reflecting on Dr. King’s life.

The Modern Media Conference is a biannual event held at Georgia State University that brings media professionals to the undergraduate community to discuss their work. Past speakers to the Modern Media Conference including Killer Mike, Monica Pearson, and Jovita Moore.

Neo Network, or NeoN, operates as an online video network and aims to provide members with training and hands-on experience in broadcast journalism or film.

New South is a graduate student edited journal featuring fiction, nonfiction, poetry, essays, portfolios, and book reviews from across the United States. In addition to running an annual contest, New South also stages student readings featuring a select number of outside readers.

Do you love meeting new people? The Orientation Leaders are the face of the university in helping to welcome new students to campus each year. The recruitment and selection process for leaders of New Student Orientation takes place each fall semester.

Georgia State University’s Panther Activities Council plans and produces social, educational, entertainment and health related programs for Perimeter College students.

Panther Breakaway is part of the national alternative breaks program that organizes community service trips for college students during their winter, spring and summer breaks. Student Civic Engagement offers both international and domestic trips.

The Panther Community Plunge is Student Civic Engagement’s first large-scale day of service of the academic year. During Panther Welcome Week, it introduces first-year and returning students at Georgia State University to the numerous social issues faced by Atlanta communities.

The Panther Involvement Network (PIN) is the online portal for over 500 student organizations. Log in with your campus id and password to search organizations and events that are happening on all of our campuses.

Panther Welcome is Georgia State’s official welcome celebration for incoming students. This campus-wide initiative, which takes place each August, features signature events, Ask Me booths and dozens of other festivities hosted by campus partners across our six campuses.

Panther’s Pantry was established in 2014 by graduate students in the Nutrition Department to address food insecurity for students at Georgia State. The Pantry is 100% student and volunteer-staffed and operated.

Recreational Services promotes healthy lifestyles through exceptional recreational programs, services and facilities.

The Social Justice Retreat encourages student leaders to engage with each other and start a dialogue about social justice, multicultural competence, inclusion and compassion and take that knowledge back to their student organizations.

Join a club! All currently enrolled Georgia State University students are eligible to join a club. Faculty, staff and Perimeter students are also eligible to join a club but may be excluded from competitive play.

Spotlight Programs Board is a university-sponsored, student programming board that coordinates social, cultural, educational, and entertainment events to enhance and enrich the quality of student life at Georgia State.

Student Government Association (SGA) is the official voice of the student body at Georgia State University. The primary purpose of SGA is to represent students’ interests to the university and lobby on their behalf.

The Student Judicial Board (SJB) is the judicial branch of the Student Government Association. The SJB upholds the standards of the campus community by providing peer adjudication of alleged student violations of the Student Code of Conduct.

The Student Leadership Certificate is a comprehensive leadership development program designed to help students grow as leaders, while also providing an opportunity for them gain certification for their efforts.

Supplemental Instruction (SI) Leaders provide assistance to student enrolled in academically challenging courses. They plan and facilitate out-of-class study sessions three times a week throughout the semester.

Talk Tuesday is a virtual series of workshop conversations that provides a forum that amplifies the voices of marginalized and underrepresented communities around various topics centered of intersectionality and social justice.

In the spirit of ideas worth spreading, TEDx is a program of local, self-organized events that brings people together to share a TED-like experience. TEDxGeorgiaStateU is an independently organized event showcasing not only TED Talks, but speakers from the Georgia State community.

The Signal newspaper covers campus academic, organizational and sporting events and features student opinion on a variety of national issues. The Signal provides opportunities for students to gain experience within a professional newspaper environment.

Touch the Earth, Recreational Services' outdoor recreation program, offers a wide variety of experiences designed for all skill levels and led by a team of experienced volunteer trip leaders.

Underground is an undergraduate student-edited journal featuring fiction, nonfiction, poetry, essays, and art from the community of four-year undergraduate students at Georgia State University. The Underground also stages student readings on and off campus.

Volunteer International Student Assistant (V.I.S.A.) Leaders are a group of students who are trained to provide assistance during new international student orientation each semester. They provide a warm welcome to our state.
