September is #SuicidePreventionAwareness Month, and today, September 10, marks World Suicide Prevention Day.
This day is a reminder of the importance of mental health and the crucial role we all play in supporting one another. Your Health & Wellness departments have come together to create a full week of programs, events, and resources dedicated to honoring those we’ve lost to suicide and raising awareness about suicide prevention.
Throughout this week, you’ll find a variety of opportunities to engage, learn, and support one another. From meet & greet sessions with out counselors to a keynote address by mental health advocates, each event is designed to equip you with the knowledge and tools to help prevent suicide. We’ll also be hosting fun events like De-Stress with Pets, Sound Bath & Yoga, and other activities aimed at fostering a supportive community and reducing the stigma around mental health issues.
